I can't say that I like YouTube as a platform, but I do like the videos my favourite content creators publish. Sometimes, I also listen to music on YouTube. I would say I spend around 1.5-2 hours watching videos on YouTube per day.
Its okay. They really need competition bad. They've been doing things I do not like. Especially removing Dislikes. I can see why they removed it for "dislke bombing" but it also helped with tutorials. If you see a video with a lot of dislikes, the tutorial is likely either incorrect, or doesn't make sense, etc.
I'm neutral about it. I don't love it, but I don't hate it either. I largely only really go on these days to watch videos while I'm eating, so I'm not really overly involved in it, but I've never really had too many issues with the platform to really say I love it or hate it.
I love Youtube and I use it daily! Whether it's to watch various videos while I'm eating dinner or just want to chill, or if I'm listening to music while browsing the internet I use Youtube for hours each day.
I tend to use YouTube as an idea generator for some future content. I have been trying to use more open-source projects lately like Peertube. I still browse YouTube for new videos from channels I subscribe too.
It’s certainly not what it used to be, but it’s still a website I use on a daily basis. I’m always watching videos learning about history, politics, sports, etc.
I mean, do we have a choice? They kind of own that part of the Internet frankly. I like the content creators, I do pay for the Premium so I can get ad free video's and music. Totally worth it especially with it being an election cycle in the U.S. >_>
