You know how some videos they allow you to listen to a Commentary while watching the movie. Sometimes they give a bit of trivia to what’s going on. I don’t care to watch it. One, I want to just watch the movie & even if it’s a movie I wouldn’t mind watching again, I don’t want to be distracted. Now, AFTER, bonus features, are different. I like watching those.

It's not something I've ever really enjoyed, I will watch the features that accompany a film, those are usually interesting, but commentary over a film annoys me.

I’ve tried it with different movies I’ve bought on DVD, but didn’t care for it. Just made it harder to follow what was going on.

No. I find it to be annoying. I prefer to watch the movie as is.

I've seen a lot of the Harry Potter ones on the blu rays and enjoyed those as they're not only audio but also visual commentary and have interviews with the cast etc throughout the movie. It's a new way to watch the movie!

I do have trouble concentrating on most audio commentaries though.

I think I've only done this once with The Lord of the Rings and I didn't care for it much.
Don't tell me it was the extended editions? Those things go on for hours!

Not really, unless it starts to get very interesting and keeps me watching it ;P has very good history most of them are.

As much as I know that is a feature when watching a movie I am someone that prefers to just watch the movie as I would normally and not bother with the commentary. I find that I get easily distracted by the commentary and it results in me missing stuff in the movie so I just leave the commentary.
