We don't go to public spots where we would need to log out of. I do prefer to stay logged in. Especially when it's sites & forums I visit often throughout the day. Although there are times I do get logged out if the computer did an update. I tend to get irked at those times lol What about you? Do you log out? If so, for a certain site or the whole computer? How often do you do it?
I pretty much only use my own devices to access most things. So logging out is a rare thing. I will make a point to log out on public and even work devices, but I use them so little that the need is rare.
I use a password manager for 99% of my stuff, so getting logging out is just a click to fix, but since all my passwords are 25+ chars of random things generated by the manager, having to login without it is a pain.
As long as it's my own devices that no one else has access to and they are not public devices I will stay logged in. For anything such as public devices being used I always log out of those.
I always log out except on one forum. I just have made it a habit because if I don't log out, people see me online still until the system gets rid of me and once in the past someone had messaged me thinking I was online... and it was about a suicidal post. We have a suicide protocol on a couple forums I'm on and if another mod thought I was handling it (by seeing me online), it could mean life or death if the person is serious.
I use CCleaner every time before I shut my computer down, which clears all of my cookies. So yes, I log out of all sites when I'm done using them for the day.
I find it too stressful to login and logout every now and then. If it's a site I use often, it's not worth the stress logging out and to login all the time.
