Do you make your own graphics for your website or do you pay for someone else to make them for you?

I wish I were better at designing graphics. I used to have photoshop and I currently have gimp but I never got great at making graphics, no matter how many times I practiced. Oh well I suppose there are too many settings and configurations and magic tricks to perform. Too overwhelming and confusing.
With a forum all you really need is to design a logo up the top & everything else is provided to you from the software and/or 3rd party skin/theme installed. Its easy to get some cool text (with outlines, bevels or shadows) on a transparent background. Even I can do that. 😛

I been getting other graphics designers to deal with some work, Most of it on my websites are done by others that are paid or from other websites that are also paid.
I can use Photoshop and I made my own graphics many times, like YouTube banner and whatnot but half the time I'm not fully good or the time. I have done allot with Photoshop even car skins

Yeah, I think I make all of my graphics for the sites I build. but I have on occasion been lazy and got a friend to do them haha really depends of the size of a project. do you make your own?
I made my own for my website and I also make all my images for posts here at FP. 🙂

Yes, technically I would do it myself since I'm a graphic designer. 🙂 I haven't really done a whole lot with Sakuga City though. There is a team involved in running it, not just me and time hasn't been on my side lately hehe. I did design the logo, but when I actually get the time, there are some issues with the lettering that I want to correct. At the time, they wanted something kinda unique, but we needed to get it up before I got lynched for slacking. I did a few graphical templates for Sakuga City and stuff like that though as well as small graphics for social media and so on.

No I don't make graphics and any graphics found on any forum I was an admin or owner of was made by someone else who kindly did the work for me. I was always fortunate to have a friend who was willing and able to make banners, ad sigs, and other forum graphics when the need arose for them.
I'd rather save the cash for something more productive.
