Do you pay attention to reviews?
I take reviews with a grain of salt. If the majority of the reviews are negative but I still was interested, I have given the show or movie a chance. But it has to catch my interest within the first 10 or so minutes or I leave.
I do, especially when it comes to movies and shows on streaming. A lot of these streaming platforms focus on having a ton of content, regardless of the quality of the content. There’s plenty of things not worth watching sixty seconds of.
I always look at the ratings before going to watch any movie playing in theaters. I don't want to waste my time or money on bad movies that I won't like.
It really depends on what I am looking at reviews for. If it's a new service or maybe a new seller that I may be using on say a place like eBay then I will look at reviews just to give myself peace of mind. I have known though for some things to have good reviews and I have still not received the best of services so even though I do still look at reviews, I always stay cautious.
I don't pay attention to reviews. For example, if I want to go see a movie then I won't pay attention to the reviews because 99% of the time the critics will hate whatever movie I'm interested in. And the critics will only like the movies I have no interest in seeing ever.
