I only do if the actors aren’t talking lol Otherwise the music tends to literally be put on the backburner for me. There are some shows i.e. Grey’s Anatomy earlier season where they had the characters singing the songs. I found that in that particular episode, the songs fit pretty well with what was going on. I looked up the song & artist & learned of some new ones that I enjoyed as well.

A lot of the time me and my GF will comment on if it's bussin' or not. We often times rate a movies based off of the sound track. We watched a movie that was really good last night but the sound track was awful and it was nothing but really bad B rated music so we sat there and nagged at the music the entire time lol

Yeah, sometimes if it has a really good soundtrack. The Crow is a wonderful example.

Not really, I rather watch the film and the story about the film and I do hear the music playing in the background, like a car chase or something and the music is turning with the car's engine Xd. Most of the time I do know what the song is or other times I do not. I do not take in the music that often, other then out of the blue.
