No, I don't know anyone who is a friends, classmates, or family member who are now famous online with many "Real" followers on YouTube, Facebook, Myspace, Twitter, Blog owner like PerezHilton.com , forums like Digital Point owner who is famous in the professional webmaster and online marketing community.

Somebody I went to high school with has a video on YouTube with a few million hits on it. He's made a decent amount of money off it.

Another person I went to school with thinks she's a good singer and was on TV (briefly) for America's Got Talent.

How much money someone makes on YouTube is probably the most accurate way to see how many "REAL" views someone has on YouTube because you can buy bots to artificially make your view number higher because of a bug in the mobile view counter on YouTube, but Google Adsense is smart enough to not count viewbots in your earnings, and will ban you from the YouTube/Adsense Revenue sharing partner eventually when they detect you used bots to inflate your views.

If someone earns $100 a day on YouTube, he probably get at least 10,000 or more views a day on YouTube since the Click Through Rate for ads is around 1-5%.

I'm known in my family as the guy who makes websites, and online videos about computer topics.

It is kind of strange how everyday task to me like making websites, blogs, and YouTube video which many young people in America, Europe, Australia, etc take for granted seem unique for regular people from a different generation.

No, but I did ask the youtuber "Miles Jai" some questions on Formspring and he responded! : O
I was actually his first connection on there cause I asked him so many questions!
(For those of you who don't know, Formspring has something called connections, and whoever you have talked with the most appears on your profile. Your connections list is a list that shows you who you talk with the most.)

I don't look up to them? WHen did I say that? Money has nothing to do with who I look up to. Though (admittedly) I look down on people the lose excessive amounts of money. Such as if your initials are MZ and your company recently went public and you lost a ton of money because of it.

And it is pretty sad because he died last year, though I don't know how you would know that from my post. :/
