For example: salad fork, dinner fork, & put them on the correct side? We just have one fork, one spoon & we just put them on the table. I never could remember which goes where 🙂

No need to practice. My first job was a waitress in a very upscale restaurant. They taught me how to properly set the table. It's stuck with me since I must have done hundreds of times.

We call it table etiquettes, and that was actually a chapter of my college curriculum.

We were taught about how to behave while on table. Like how to put the spoons, glasses, how to take a bite with spoon along with a fork etc.😁

In Jr. High we were taught how to do table settings in Home Ec class and even though I didn't use it until I got older, most of it stuck with me. I taught my Girl Scout troops how to set their tables properly and we practiced at our meetings and it was fun. At home, I try to set the table properly most days but if we are pulling flatware out at the last second then it's like, "Here's your fork!"

To be sincere table settings is a bit to stressful for me especially when I am seriously hungry, I sees it as a waste of time. Since I do not have a family of my own, why set the tables? And for who? I just cook my food and eat eat anyhow I want it.
