OK, so when you are replying to a thread/poll, do you read all the posts? Would you read to find out who everyone thinks is the hottest, or just put in your two cents?

For me, it depends on the circumstances. If it's a HUGE topic, I wouldn't read them all. Sometimes though, I would just post my thoughts (like, for the "What's your favorite color?" threads.

What about you?

Honestly, It depends on what drew me to the post. If it is a post on "How to do something," I'll likely read through all the posts to ensure I have all the possible answers. But super large threads, I won't read them all.

I used to do the reading and follow up but these days I just post and move on. Not worth debate and argument for the sake of it.

I think it's important as an staff member to read most of the posts and topics as they have to. Depending the size of the site it would be heard to read everything. But that's important. I do tend to flip though and read it but I don't fully read topics if they are big topics and most cases here on FP I get to read threads before replies.

I usually at least read the first page, and if it's a long thread I'll read the last 1-2 pages

It depends if it's a discussion or just a bunch of people replying to OP. I enjoy it when the replies all quote each other so it can be an actual fluid conversation

I will usually skip replies that I don't find extremely interesting.
