Do you really read the rules?
Ok when any admin joins the forum, do you ever read the TOS or rules?
I only read the rules if I joined the forum because i want to not because of exchange. Also most forums now days have the same rules.
I do read the rules most of the time, but like Dragon Master said, a lot of forums have similar rules nowadays.

You want the truth, I have never read forum rules on any forum i have ever joined, period. Rules are self explanatory.
I only read the rules each forum has, if it's one major page or topic then I won't bother.
I only read my rules I make.
I sometimes skim the rules for abnormalities but generally rules in forums are ways of expressing the obvious to those who are too ignorant to obey them really. Rules should be self evident unless it's something unique. Writing forums, for example, tend to have grammar rules so it's good to look over the rules in that genre of forum. Generally though as long as you follow common since and don't act like a fool you will follow the rules for 90% of all forums out there.
I usually only check for advertising rules. Other ones are pretty self-explanatory.
What about the ones that say, "by clicking 'I agree' I submit my soul to the administrator"

Rules are about the same everywhere, but I still read them.

I do because I'm always on the lookout for fresh ideas for rules layouts and stuff.
TOS are long for a reason :lol:🙂
On my site they're called "laws" :lol:
I generally don't read the rules because unless the place is ridiculously strict I just use plain common sense.
