I use a Desktop so I don’t know how it differs with a cell phone. If a cell can even have Microsoft Word or equivalent. I do save emails & conversations I have with people in Word. I keep them organized as well. Makes it easier to remember what was said & when.
So, do you save conversations? If so, how do you save them? Do you use Word too or another app?

I dont ever save my emails. Never had a good reason.

I get a lot of email, the majority of which gets read and instantly deleted. However those that don't I tend to revisit once in a while and some get deleted while some don't. I'd take a guess that I have between one and two hundred emails sitting in my inbox at any one time. Over time they get deleted as they become less important.

I very, very rarely delete e-mails. I search for old information in my e-mail on a fairly regular basis, so I have learned that it is best not to delete anything. I have a very poor memory.

I only delete emails from places I shop from after I receive the item, other promotional emails and spam. I save emails from friends and family.

As for conversations on forums, some limit how many you can have if you aren't on staff. So I rarely use PMs on those sites. On here, everything is kept by me.

I have receipts that I have to keep with folders and files in them 🙂 important things that might need them in the future and whatnot. Even if I brought an item and the website closed down and then need proof to tell the deployment team that I brought it as so and so.

Spam is a go go 🙁

I save email conversations on email threads, I don't delete conversations I have with my clients and customers.
