So if you smoke weed in a bong it's safer. Is that like a rumour or is their a real study showing this.

It's a bit healthier because it filters more of the crap that some gets sprayed by unlike a joint or blunt where you're taking it all in. Safest are vaporizers though, no smoke at all.

Okay, I'm totally at a loss here, but what's hookah? I don't think I've heard of that before.

If I'm not wrong, a hookah is similar to a bong; it's generally used to smoke tobacco and not marijuana, though (except in the USA and Europe as Gimgak said).

I will be honest and say that I have tried it once but I did not think it was cool. It was really nasty. And by once I mean "Inhale, Exhale" and I was done.

This is not the kind of habit that I would ever want to start.

Hey just wanted to chip in,

Ashley, I'm not saying this works for everyone, but i was hospitalized 4 times for asthma. From the day I started smoking my asthma went away completely and that enabled me to play football and become an all star linebacker in high school (and I was smoking trough football). I looked it up and many people including doctors say it can dry up fluids that start some asthma attacks.... not saying smoking is good at all, it just an interesting thing. 🙂
