When there’s a new forum, do you join & offer your support? Or wait to see if they will be active? I try to help out. Even creating topics & replying to some posts. Although like I mentioned before, if it’s a wash rinse repeat, then I’m not so quick.

I used to join new forums and create lots of content. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a huge waste of time due to the owners of the forum shutting it down fairly quickly. Now I will wait and see how much effort is put into the forum and what their plans are.

I join new or any Fourms when I do exchanges or deals 😉 Or maybe I like the forum so much that makes me join anyway 🙂 I do not join every single Forum that openings 😛 I mean how long would they even last for....

Its completely depend on forums niche and activities. If admin, moderators are active on forums then i prefer to join those forums otherwise there are chance to be spammy forums after few weeks or months and these types of forums are valueless.

I used to do this back in the time. It can get frustrating to see communities come and go, but I usually joined communities that seemed to have a decent quality and never regretted it. In turn, many webmasters were kind enough to join mine and help build it.

I like to help new forums but since I am already busy with my forums and blogs, I can't just support them for free. I am willing to do exchanges and paid posting on new forums.

I am always willing to join and support someone who is just starting out with a forum. I know myself as many of us do just what it's like to start with a new forum and how difficult it can be to get activity and how deflating it can feel when nothing seems to be moving. If the person who is starting out seems serious, wants to keep things going then I will always do my best to help them with things such as activity and even any other help they may need.
