Do you think my horror forum will be a success ANY TIPS

So yesterday I created a forum and the topic is horror . Further more the whole forum is about friday the 13th , it be discussions about the movies Jason Voorhees and the newly released game.
Do you think I can gain many members with this kind of forum any tips.

Only time will tell and how much effort you put into this.

But what about if the game dies out you would be stuck with a dead game.

Try have some other options you can turn too if this was to happen.

Thank you I have thought about it , even if the game died down I don't think the films ever will. And also I have some discussions for all horror and competitions. So even if friday the 13th died down a little it is still horror base . Thank you tho as your on to something there and good point.
I have made facebook page and group to go with it and twitter account even a pinterest account. So just needs bit work but been working all day on it nearly as I am using Mybb forum I completely been changing theme options to creating logo and forum boards the lot.

Having a specific subject matter on your forum can sometimes be hard to get people to join. Plus, if the popularity of that particular game dies over time, then that just makes it even harder. One tip could be breaking out into horror in general. That way, if one discussion kind of dies down then there could always be something else that can take it's place. Also, you could consider adding an RPG section to the forum (provided there is enough interest in that and there are enough staff, you included, to manage that while it's going on). Like Vaador mentioned, it all come down to how hard you are willing to work to make this a legitimate community where people can go to discuss this sort of thing.

Thank you for the tips will make notes of these what all you guys give . As I like to keep notes and go back through them later helps me manage my forum I know it sounds silly making notes lol . But its surprising how quick something can be forgotten lol. Thanks

There's nothing wrong with taking notes. It just shows a sign of dedication to your forum. I wish you the best of luck with it.

May I add my opinion about your horror forum. I actually had seen it already but I did not bother to register because my impression is that the forum is strictly about the movie. And since I haven't seen the movie so that makes me ignorant of the theme. But if the theme is more of horror in general then maybe it will be more attractive than when the parameter is based on the movie. Perhaps you can change the way the forum is presented to give a leeway to other kind of horror.
