Yes, I usually turn off my tablet when I am not using it unless I am downloading a huge app, game, video, or file.

I sometimes leave it in standby/screen off mode if I plan to use it latter on.

I usually leave my tablet ON when it is charging.

I always make sure to turn my tablet off when I'm not using it. The only time that I leave it on is if I'm downloading something very large like apps, games, videos, files, etc. Turning my tablet off when I'm not using it saves on battery power.

Tablet usually consumes a lot battery than my android cell phone.I keep it off while I am not using it.Keeping tablet at standby does not fulfill the job as far as i think.

I think Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, etc is still ON, and many Apps like Facebook, Twitter, and built-in apps are still running in Standby mode, so it is best to keep your tablet OFF to save more battery life.

I never turn off my iPad 2. Never.

19 hours of usage, and 6 days of standby with 32% left.

I dont have a tablet, I have a computer and a phone. Between the two I don't need something in the middle, I'm good. 😛

I have a computer, wired home phone, and a tablet. : ) I don't really need a cell phone since no one really call me when I am at home, so I be paying for cell service, but rarely getting calls. Instant messaging and e-mail is also good enough to keep in touch with people using words.

I also don't really need to access the internet on a phone when I go out because finding a public computer to use at the library, Internet Cafe, a school, or community center is pretty simple since most of the places I go to like a grocery store, etc are pretty close to public computers.

It is nice to have a tablet with a bigger screen, so I can lay on a couch, or in bed, and use it for watching videos, reading ebooks/magazines, and playing games on a bigger screen while laying on the couch.

I don't turn it off through the day as the mobility is built to be left out during the day but I do turn it off every night.

I don't turn my off but usually it stays dead anyways because I don't use it alot.

I leave my iPad on Standby when I am not using it but I make sure that wi-fi and everything is off.. It hardly uses much battery when it is on standby given everything else is turned off. I never turn it off when I am not using it.

8 hours 38 minutes usage and 15 days 19 hours standby with 21% battery left. Not bad.
