A very easy way to convince a potential customer that your product is worth buying is to quote another customer who is already happily using your product. A site visitor is more likely to believe a third party than the site owner (who is assumed to be biased in favor of his own product). So for this reason, using third party testimonials and endorsements of your site or product is always a good idea. Gather a collection of winning reviews about your product and post on a testimonials page. Or, feature one testimonial on your home page (such as above the fold but below the header). Another useful idea is to feature media coverage about your product, such as reviews by notable blogs or new channels.
