Do you use free themes for your forum ?

I am running a forum by using MyBB community forum script. Currently I am using a free theme with customization. Before this I have used several paid themes. I think free themes are also good. Yes, paid themes have lots of customization. But if you will have some designing skills than you can customize the free theme and can use for your community forum. However, from my opinion free themes are not bad for a community, because its also loaded with much styles. 😀 What is your opinion about this ? Share your thoughts with us.
 
I've seen some free themes that are just as good as paid themes. Also, I think you have more available to you if you use free themes. Like you said, you can get more styles with free.
 
I think some free themes, are great, you just got to find time, to find a really great one. I prefer custom because you get what you want and it is all your own choice.
 
As long as it looks good (as a regular member) I don't care if the admin paid for it or got it for free. Makes no difference to me.

Same here. there are also people who are talented to the point where the free themes look so good you can't even tell a person got it for free. technology these days is really incredible!
 
Free = Paid. Yayayah you can get a custom theme for money. But what about underage forum admins?
 
Lol forum members who are under 18 (such as me). We can't pay for 'paid' themes.
 
I used to edit free themes, giving them a completely different look. Now I have made my own from scratch including a lot of custom built-ins, with the help of my tech admin.
 
Free themes dont have support when i'm in trouble. I always prefer paid themes for my forum and website
 
I always prefer paid themes. Most free themes are so over used that visitors dont feel to come back.

Not really. There are free themes coming out and on IPS I'm using an theme that only downloaded 5 or so times so aren't allot of users using it.

can be the same for paid, I seen allot of websites using the theme that's paid from the some designer
