Linux is an open source operating system. There we have many versions of Linux. I didn't tried Linux yet. I am still with Windows 7. Very soon I am going to use Linux but there one problem that we don't have much software for Linux OS as we have for Windows OS but still I think that Linux is really better than Windows after reading some reviews. However, did you used Linux OS ? What is your opinion about this ? Please some of your experience, it will help me to make the right decission.
Windows has many more advantages:
Easier to use
More & better driver support for hardware
More programs & software are windows compatible
The windows GUI is unmatched compared to linux
I can't play anywhere close to my full library of steam games or WoW for that matter on linux
Many fanboys love to say "linux can't be hacked", it can be, just look at all the websites running on linux that get hacked on a daily basis, even Android, which was built from linux has some pretty serious exploits that have been discovered over the years.
