Do you use social media?

I used to have Facebook then went to Mewe. I have since deleted all accounts. I really don't like social media. I prefer forums as they are friendlier.
Pros & cons to social media.
Pros: Keeping in touch with family & friends. A one-stop shopping where people go to keep in contact.
Very well-known.
Cons: People rely on the LIKES way too much. If somebody doesn't like their post, they think something is wrong with them as a person.

What do you think of Social Media? What platforms do you use? Which ones won't you use anymore?

I do use social media but to be honest, it only really is Facebook sometimes and Twitter a few times a day. I remember when MySpace was still around and Facebook was just starting out. I would be somewhat addicted to social media and would spend hours scrolling through Facebook per day. I managed to curb that a lot though and I now only go on maybe twice a day to check things and come off, the same with Twitter as well now.

I am on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram daily. I do very little posting. I lurk, unless I’m sharing a news article or something.

I go on Facebook, Twitter, and lately I've been checking out Mastodon. I prefer forums to social media though! I only keep up with Facebook since my family uses it, Twitter for video game related posts, and Mastodon because I wanted to check out and join an alternative social media platform.
