Do you use TouchBB?

Does anyone here use TouchBB on their forums? I'm installing it right now, FP uses it to, quite useful.

No, it's terrible.

No signatures, it glitches a lot and many posts go into the approval queue.

It isn't that good and to be honest i would like to remove it although alot of people do use it and removing it now will annoy people.

It's 100x better to use the default iTouch browser. It works perfectly with FP.

Well I have only started using since I only got my Touch a few days ago and it seems okay.

I'd recommend tapatalk over TouchBB any day 😉 Pity neither work with MyBB though 🙁

TapTalk has had it's fair share of security issues (as to has TouchBB to be honest). A mobile style would be much better and more secure.

I use touchbb sometimes I find it pretty useful when im away from my computer. 🙂

Well I like it, it's not bad but yeah it does have it's flaws though... Alright for browsing quickly though.

Well I would get TapTalk but it costs £1.10 or something whereas TouchBB only costs 59p so I'm not up for switching, besides I only come on to browse, if I ever need to moderate a forum I'm on I'll use a computer.

What sort of staff functions does it not allow you to do? I suppose like locking topics, moving, merging, etc. Am I right?

So not only can you not do basic staff functions, but you also don't earn points? Weird. Makes me like that thing even less.

It also doesn't attach your signature. There is alot wrong with it ranging from the development of it to how it actually works.

I think a mobile version of the site that can auto detect if you are using a mobile device would be better as that doesn't rely on a large script to be secure and not allow people to see more then they should.

I only use it when I need to PM someone, as that works well.
Although, everytime I post it needs approval 🙁

Yeah that is another problem with it although the developer can't actually make it happen for him. It only happens if you reply to a topic you started i believe.

PMs needing approval? That does not make sense. I can see that happening if it was like regular posts and topics and what not, general things like that, but PMs? Wow.
