Traffic exchange is one of the popular method to promote a website. I have noticed that many webmaster are using traffic exchange sites like easyhits4u to promote their website. But I don't think that traffic exchange really works for all kind of websites. For example if you have a forum then you will want some active member to make the forum busy. But with traffic exchange you will just get some visitors not members ! So I think traffic exchange not a good method to promote a community forum. However, may be its helpful for other kind of websites. What do you think about this ?
You are right when you say traffic exchanges are a good way to bring traffic to your site but not members or conversions. Traffic exchanges are like going into a marketplace full of sellers or persons promoting their own products and services and pitching your own to them(there are few to no buyers there). This will rarely result in any conversions because they are only focused on promoting and not buying.
According to me traffic exchange is not a good way to bring traffic to a website. This process won't help you get conversions which is the ultimate goal of every website owner.
Going to say this out straight. No. and it's not a good idea to think about doing it. At times it's fake or it can be fake. If it's real deal traffic then most of the traffic from A site that's going to B site but not even have the interest. A site is about Cats and B site is about cars. So will cat people be into cars?
