Almost my sites are using Wordpress because it's free and have a large community supporting me almost my problems. It also has many free themes and plugins that I can use totally free. 🙂
I still see that Wordpress is winning in terms of popularity. I think its because its easier to customize and plug php and embeds all over the place which seems convenient for most developers. I still prefer Drupal 7 to do most of my websites because it handles data really good with plugins and hardly any coding. The only major coding I do on drupal is for the themes.
I take full advantage of WordPress and use it for almost all my client's sites. It allows me to provide them a CMS and it makes it easier for me to integrate advanced features.
I haved been using wordpress for close to 5 years now and realy love it customization capabilities. Wordpress is by far my favourite cms as you have access to powerful tools and plugings to dish out a killer site. Another thing i like about wordpress is that you have access to easily customizable themes to create just about any kind of website you require.
