I'm also "trapped" with Akuma no Riddle. The original plot was interesting, but I think the execution was not that satisfying. I'm just watching it for the sake of finishing it.
Do you watch No Game No Life? Best anime for this season, in my opinion. Correct level of awesomeness in almost every aspect.

Infinite Stratos if you are into harems and really really really really ....1000 reallys after... really dense main character lol

I watch Anime from time to time myself. My favorites are the old episodes of Pokemon, Seasons 1-4 of Digimon with Frontier being my favorite, the old Yu-Gi-Oh! seasons, and I also enjoyed Attack on Titan. Some other ones I used to watch are Paranoia Agent (tempted to watch this again, been years since I've seen it...) Bleach, and FMA.
I like Spice and Wolf, an anime about a merchant named Lawrence from the Middle Ages who meets a Wolf Goddess named Holo. Her village people have turned away from their beliefs and she wishes to return to the cold North where she came from. I like this show as it's not based around violence though there are many chase scenes, mostly where they are fleeing persecution.
My favourite anime shows would include the long-running Detective Conan, Sword Art Online and Monster Rancher. I used to adore Digimon and Pokemon as a kid too.
Just got myself in awe after watching latest episode of Fate/stay night: Unlimited Blade Works (season 2 episode 6 / episode 18). Anybody else following the series or read the novel? At MyAnimeList it seems many fans complained about the quality if they compared it to the novel, but as non-novel reader I really enjoyed the episode. Awesome in various level.
