I am posting this thread because I have noticed that the males are more into mixed martial arts fights than boxing or wrestling. In the olden days, wrestling was a big hit not only for the kids but for the adults as well. And boxing, of course, is the main fare of the men. But now, I can see that mixed martial arts are more popular and I've heard that purses for fighters are already in millions. And what's the attraction of mixed martial arts? The blood. Yeah, that sport is so brutal that a bloodied fighter is a common sight. Sorry, I don't watch those fights but I have no choice sometimes to see it on tv.
I'm not a huge fan of any entertainment fighting, it all just feels so primitive. If something, I'd watch boxing though. I feel that it's a bit more of an art form with all the tactics involved than MMA etc.
I study martial arts but I don't really watch MMA, Boxing or Wrestling. I watch martial arts videos on YouTube but that is mainly just tutorials. I enjoy practising martial arts but not a great fan of watching it on TV. Sometimes, I look at mma videos on YouTube to learn new moves but I hardly watch it for entertainment and its hard to do this when watching it on TV because you can't rewind and see the moves again and a lot of the time, you need to see it multiple times to get the idea of their move.
