How many people actually follow female athletics? I'm not a huge fan of female athletes besides the Williams sisters in tennis and a few basketball players such as Lisa Leslie.
I don't go out of my way to watch women's sports very often, though I have seen a few women's basketball games. Besides that, I go by what I see on ESPN
Well, I'm a tennis fan, and i actually enjoy watching the women's games more. And not just for the short skirts ... i swear.
Seriously. ~cool~
Really, though, I enjoy women'stennis more, because the men'sgame is so powerful, rallies may last 3-4 volleys; where as the women's volleys do last alot longer, and are more exciting to watch, in my opinion.
I watch Women's Tennis, Football, Darts, Cricket, Athletics.. anything really, because it seems more competitive as the favourites change all the time, unlike Men's sports which prodominantly have a best, a second best. a third best, and the random guy who will do well for a few, then sink back just as the hype starts.
I was watching women fighting the other day on some sports channel. It was pretty entertaining. I sure were tough though.. I bet they could take down any average man.
I'm not a big sports person in general, but I like to catch the occasional women's volleyball game (we have a fantastic college team in my state) or women's soccer game (two fantastic college teams in my state!) Most men's sports I only watch if there's somebody like Michael Jordan to tempt me into seeing what the fuss is about, or during the World Cup (soccer). 🙂
I also like figure skating and equestrian sports, where men and women perform at much more equal levels and sometimes in partnership, so it's not really such a big deal which sex the athlete is. actually, in some of the equestrian sports women do better than men!
I have no choice. My older sister's a big sports fanatic. Anytime she's not at work or school or on her laptop, she's watching some kind of sport on the flatscreen. And, she's on a lot of her school's sports teams. Soccer, basketball, track, cross country, softball, you name it, she's probably played it.
I watch women's sports. Really enjoyed wimbledon. I try to catch WNBA at times but it comes on @ wacky times often. (Try to support my hometown Atlanta Dream!), also LOVE watching women's track n' field.
I rarely watch girl sports, unless it's at the Olympics, when the summer Olympics are going on I watch only Girl Gymnastics, and both guys and girls swimming.
