Who here works out?
I've been really trying to get better at going to the gym, doing cardio, and just being a more healthy person lately. I'm just learning it is so tough to give up the regular things you like just to attain a slimmer or more muscular figure.
For a while I was going to the gym in the mornings before work and was seeing some pretty good progress. But lately I've shifted back to my nightly gym schedule. I try and go 5 times a week and then referee outdoor soccer on the weekends. This is how I normally split up my 5 days.
Monday: Chest/Triceps - Cardio (20 minute interval run)
Tuesday: Legs/Abs (No cardio)
Wednesday: Biceps/Back - Cardio (20 minute interval run)
Thursday: Legs/Abs (No cardio)
Friday: Shoulders - Cardio (20 minute interval run)
Then Saturday and Sundays I referee like 2 or 3 games where I'm running multiple miles each game.
The eating part is what is killing me. The calorie tracking, the what's good for you and what's not. It's just such a difficult life.
