Does anybody know how to get mods for freeforums?

Hey. Does anybody know if it is possible to get mods for freeforums? If so, could you please give me some links (e.g. Reputation points mod, forum cash mod, etc.). I would appreciate the help. 🙂 The starter ones aren't really any help.

Not that I know of, I'd really suggest that you use a actual host where you manage the files yourself. There are simply more opportunities that come with it. If you need to look for a host, just check in this thread I made filled with free and paid hosts. 🙂

Freeforums is the most free, and easiest. Phpbb is hard to set up, and not free. Freeforums is the only thing that I can use, I had to give up on using ZetaBoards because it was awful. Thanks for the link, Dy.namik, but I don't want to make a new forum.

I don't think you get it, I don't want to pay for hosting, and I already have a forum and don't want to make a new one. I just want to know how to get mods for freeforums because that will make my life easier.

I have briefly in the distant past looked into free forum sites, more as an interest as to how they do it more than a desire to want to start one on a free site. I found them then to be way constricting such as the ability to put in usually readily available and free mods as well as other things.

With the price of server space being so inexpensive now is it not better to have full control? Just being curious. phpBB, SFM, BBForums etc are all free forum scripts, there is even bb forums for Wordpress (not really recommending it but it is there). My server is less than $8 per month or $77 a year for virtually unlimited hosting, I would think that a small price to pay for the freedom of being able to run what you want and how you want isn't it?

I am just curious on the motivation if you will, sorry if I sound bad I am not meaning to, just thinking out loud really...also curious as to what price people are willing to pay for premium server services shared and reseller

As others have said, I don't think you can really install your own MODs on Freeforums. You have to request the MOD on their support forum, and I don't think they install MODs anymore. I could be wrong, though.
