Over here, in almost all Asian restaurants, you can find fried imperial rolls. Asians have different ways of making them. I'm in the process of learning how to myself. How about you?
We haven't tried making these as we don't do wheat anymore. I'm curious if others tried a gluten-free version. We HAVE made spring rolls though that were very good.
Yeah, egg rolls are awesome and they could possible, be it a quick meal, alone, to fill you up. It would be cool to make homemade ones. Well, I figure at the least, some eggs will be needed - kind of like with hush puppies.
I never liked egg rolls until a few years ago. I almost got some this past weekend but the place we were going to order from didn't have their menu online. I picked up a paper menu so when I visit my daughter again next time, we'll definitely order from there. They have all kinds of different rolls!! Can't wait.
I used to like egg rolls but for some reason now I'm not much of a fan - at least I've never had a really good egg roll recently that is. They're always to mushy on the inside!
I’m not a big fan of egg roles on their own. I don’t mind egg with salad in a role, or having egg with bacon/sausage in a breakfast sandwich. Otherwise, it’s to bland and there isn’t much texture to the food.
