Does book advertising work well?

Does book advertising work well? Have you seen an ad or video for a book and found it appealing enough to want to read it?

I will be honest, aside from things such as advertising of ebooks and Amazon Kindle I don't tend to see paperback books advertised as much as they used to be.

It's a shame as I feel a lot of people still prefer paperback books so would be nice to see them advertised more.

You can get paperback, there are so many around and easy to get. I always get a paperback myself, well as a gift and Amazon sells them and many bookshops also do. UK has many people that read still. more so than other locations.

Seems that you do not shop around more so than you should 😛 That being said we do not see much advertisement on books, then again I do not look for it.
