I was just wondering what the users on this board, think of the issue of Does god exist? this isnt going to be a racial thing. Just a advanced debate of what you think of this.

I would like to believe that there is a God but it is hard to believe. I don't think that someone could create the hole world in 6 days just like that.

Thats what i think, if there is a god. Why doesent he just show himself lol.

You can't be a Christian and not believe it.

And yes, I do believe.

Nope. No 'god' would allow our species to survive, or even let us be 'created', unless he was one heartless f.

Plus there's no proof of his/her existance.

And then when it is proven when you die that god does not exist, what's the point?

I'm atheist..Parents are hindu so i am closer to that.. but no belief what so ever..Just i think that it is preety gay idea who ever made this..god

Here are few quotes from Einstein which gives a different perspective on the whole notion of God.

"I believe in Spinoza's God who reveals himself in the orderly harmony of what exists, not in a God who concerns himself with the fates and actions of human beings."

"I do not believe in the God of theology who rewards good and punishes evil. My God created laws that take care of that. His universe is not ruled by wishful thinking, but by immutable laws."

"I'm not an atheist and I don't think I can call myself a pantheist. We are in the position of a little child entering a huge library filled with books in many languages. The child knows someone must have written those books. It does not know how. It does not understand the languages in which they are written. The child dimly suspects a mysterious order in the arrangements of the books, but doesn't know what it is. That, it seems to me, is the attitude of even the most intelligent human being toward God."
I personally like to believe that God exists just like solar energy and gravity, it's like "The Force". It doesn't have a form or gender nor any motives or agenda.

Interesting...
I do believe God exists.

I believe that he exists, but it is still hard because like many good points made there is no proof, but saying "I know he doesn't exist" is ignorant because nobody is certain, and the same way we have no proof he exists, you have no proof he doesn't exist. This is a good question.

Very very good point.

Because God said that if he shows you who God was that it would be so bright it would blind you, or something.
