Right now, this is the project that I am working on, I don't if I would count it finished or not....

So tell me what you think so far. Don't worry, I am going to add a Christmas theme after I get some feedback.

Well, to be honest, the red bordered frame below a very average-looking MyBB logo isn't helping with the visual aspect IMO. I'm also not a fan of the whole "MyBB has experienced an internal SQL error and cannot continue." thing. 😉

Yea, I ran into trouble with the new theme causing the error, but fixed it.

j/k! It's working now. 😛

So far the logo looks just amazingly out of place on a black and sky blue forum. Orange plain-looking text really just fades into the background amidst all those dark black lines on a light-grey background.

You know what would look really good? If you like, installed some portal software (Minus the portal homepage) and added some blocks to the forum index like banners, affiliate links or a list of recent posts: preferably to the right of the index page. My 2 cents.

You have two section's that mentions games but 4 talking about consoles. And one section just to talk about upcoming consoles. That would usually be a thread not a whole forum.

Hmm, I might tweak the forums around a bit, have consoles in one Category, and games in another. So I ate and came back, never closed the tab. So far your changes are in the right direction, a bit more like most gaming forums do their structure.

Update: The link is back, I changed the forums around a bit and edited the theme just for the review. I won't change the logo though.

Looks better! I still say it needs Blocks like "recent posts" and whatever on the side to the right, but other than that, nice!

Just my personal opinion, but I don't think there should be any categories dedicated to specific companies, as there are literally thousands of companies in existence out there and so far there doesn't seem to be any place to put game topics which don't fit into the categories listed. Also, having that many sub-forums for any brand-new forum just makes it look too empty and puts people off.

I think the forums dedicated just to consoles should be dedicated to gaming on those platforms in general; not just the consoles themselves.
