Does parole go too far?

This crime seems sort of unforgiveable, in a sense. Well, it did happen a long time ago. However, look what he did.
 
that's a lifetime in jail card for what that person did, I do not care what everyone else said. Maybe someone will kill him once he's out on parole 😛

Would you rather America had a Capital Punishment system like China's where they kill most of their prisoners including the ones who took a bribe or stole a loaf of bread? Perhaps we can go with Chinese Black Jails as well.

I think parole has to be a part of any penal system but awarding it must depend on multiple factors i.e. the severity of the crime, criminal record, the offender's prison record and the opinions of people working in the penal system at a senior level that have actually spent time with the offender.

I do believe people can be rehabilitated but I also believe there are some people who should never be released back into society.

As far as the kidnapper Frederick Woods is concerned, he's served 46 years which might be considered by some to be an appropriate sentence but he's only 70 and I'd be concerned he could still be a danger to society.
