Does site update affects pagerank ?

Hi, I just made a new version for my site.
(it's not yet uploaded)

I want to ask these :
1) Will this, affect google's page rank for my site ? Right now, I have pr:4, and the h1,h2,h3 tags will be different.
Also, the pages titles, the metadescriptions and the main content (slightly) will be change. Will this affect my site's current position at search results?
2) Will i have to re-submit my new site to webmaster tools ?

I won't affect the page rank of your website, as Google is less bothered about updating page rank. But yes, your keyword positions can change depending on the updates you have. You can submit the new design to your webmaster tool and get your website indexed faster to get the changes effective.

No, your page rank will not be affected if your site have good traffic on it.

I think it will, but you can go up if your new site version is great and have new content. If it is just design you should not submit to webmaster tool. If it has new content, you should submit it
