Does trouble follow you around?

If you've been on staff on a forum where you had to deal with someone who broke the rules, and then you go on other forums where he/she is a member, have you come across a situation where he/she gives you a hard time because of what happened on your forum? If so, how do you handle it?

I feel that way, sometimes, but it doesn't bother me. Nobody could say anything or do anything to ruin my reputation. I just do me, and let the haters, hate.

Well, I have had some trouble with a few people as a staff but thankfully the trouble did not follow me

Thankfully I don't have this problem, but I can see it being a pain. I never really ban anyone though or punish anyone on my forum unless they break one of our serious rules.

My answer to this is straightforward. Capital NO! But some troublesome forum members can be pain in the neck.

As much as I have had some issues with people in the past, I wouldn't say that trouble follows me around. If anything, I try to stay away from trouble and those who seem to be wanting to cause issues.

Thankfully, I haven’t had this happen to me. I try to keep it calm and collective everywhere that I’m a staff member on.

That way trouble doesn’t follow me anywhere.

Not really,

I will utilize ignore features and ban bad actors from my communities. I simply don't participate in it or put up with it.

If a forum takes sides with the bad actor, then I'll leave that forum and find a new home. 🙂

The best way to stay away from drama is to stay away from drama!
