Anything that makes your registration process different will help but things like the question and answer mod will be much more effective or a different image captcha will help alot also. Fields like that won't help much though but it will reduce it a bit though.

I'm only NewKirk's assistant admin so I can't upload anything to his website. A custom profile field is the most I can do by myself.

Nothing can. There are always the human spambots anyway and those really can't be thwarted. Better than nothing though, the topic you cited in your earlier post highly recommended it.

I don't like ZB myself as it doesn't have the custimization of phpBB3 on a webhost though.

ZB doesn't offer an arcade, only a modification made by a user, right? Competition like phpBB3, MyBB, and others have their own arcade mods which can easily be downloaded and uploaded to your server via FTP.

FTP stands for File Transfer Protocol. Using an FTP client like FileZilla allows you to upload masses of files to a sever, such as a webhost in short amounts of time.
