I've recently been told that someone can't see my signature banner and it's on my imgur account. Does your country have access to imgur?

I'm in the UK and I can but I shouldn't be able to so maybe it's cached locally in my browser.

[EDIT] If I right click and open it in a new tab I get a 'Content not viewable in your region' image, the same image I posted in this screen grab.

End up turning it on and off XD

I'm now constantly switching between my usual connection, a VPN and the TOR Browser.

Incidentally, this is how your signature looks via my everyday connection.

I just found out that imgur and the UK are having a spat and now imgur turned off the UK's access to it's site and images. I wonder how long that will last?

Yeah, Imgur have blocked the UK. It's not anyone's fault - other than the GOVERNMENT, and we in the UK have to use a VPN to see it.

So I see it everywhere, not on FP but on a lot of sites

Also from the UK and it's BS. Have a lot of Minecraft screenies on there and a couple of affiliates so I get that big purple "Content not viewable in your egion" on my board, unless I've got my VPN on.

I can certainly see it here in the US. That is wild that Imgur would go that route with the UK. Given that it's one of the few image hosts that has remained free after all these years, just about everyone uses it.

I can see them now - that's what most admins/sites need to do, host images via locally.

Yeah it's unfortunate what's going on over in the UK. I haven't used Imgur to host images for my websites in a long time personally, I prefer to use Imgbb instead.

Yeah, I'm in the UK, and I can't see it without a VPN.

Indeed, this was what pushed me over the edge, and made me say, "Screw it: I'll start using a VPN". I expect I'm not the only one.
