My forum used to have a blog, now we just post all the updates to the announcements board. Honestly I didn't see the reason why to have a blog for my niche, (it works here on FP) because I saw the forum as a platform of blogging. Posting threads into a board, etc. seemed and seems similar to blogging in my opinion. Obviously it's not the same, but in my mindset I can make the forum work as a blog. 😛

I have one forum that does and one forum that doesn't. It depends on which forum you look at. Although, I could add a blog to the forum that currently doesn't have one.
