Does your site have some form of paid membership? If so, what benefits do those "VIP" members get?
and how much do you charge for it? only one of the forums i am an admin on has premium membership.
I don't have a Premium Membership that members pay for, but if a member does donate to the forum, they'll get Elite/VIP Membership.
Affinity uses Elite Members which is gained by making 300 posts or if the Staff feel you've earned before then.
Roleplay For Me using VIP Members which is only gained by Staff vote, you have to be contributing and active to be a VIP (retired staff are also VIPs).
Yes we have a premium membership scheme where all contributions go directly (you donate the money) to helping Japan in it's relief effort to help the aftermath of the tsunami and the radiation poisoning

My forum is still in the process of being configured to how I want it. I did start with a premium subscription and they had the usual things like better avatar sizes, premium users forum etc etc.
Then I had a change of heart and made it so a donation is all that is needed to become a premium member rather than an actual subscription service.
I offer premium membership on my business forum. Premium members get a coloured username, a free directory listing, additional PM space and the right to add a link to their signature (standard members can only get a link when they have made 50+ posts).
