Is it possible to change your domain name for free?

For instance:

I want to change ilikechesse.info into ilikeveges.info is that possible for free?

You could sell your domain and buy that one but that's about it I think.

On some domain websites you can transfer your domain for free, but noramly not. Try selling your domain and buying a new one.

Depends, when did you buy it? Some registrars allow refunds, eg. NameCheap. However, there should be a small fee imposed.
