Domain Issue

hi guys, I have just registered a domain and after setting it up i add it to addon domains and why it created a subdomain by itself?
suppose i added newdomain.com and the root domain is rootdomain.com after adding the newdomain.com to addon domains i saw that one subdomain was also created as newdomain.rootdomain.com and i did not get it. how is this and why is this? can anyone explain?

It automatically does that, it's just a built in thing, so ever if your domain goes wrong or you can't access it you can use the sub-domain.

Its very good then but what if the root domain goes wrong? that means the subdomain will be terminated or something similar, will this be a problem for the addon domain ever?

Since you made an addon from newdomain.com, it is only pointed to the subfolder which it created. If you rootdomain were to go "bad" or expire, the newdomain would still be pointed on to the subfolder.

If you want to point your newdomain to your rootdomain, you should use the park domain feature.
