Domain name

If i get a free domain name like .co.cc, how do i make it so when i access different pages, the domain name change. For example, if i go to the forum, it might say: http://yourfroumname.co.cc/forum.

Can anyone help?.

You set your forum's homepage in settings to the new domain and you set the domains name servers (DNS) to the NS that your host has provided you with when you've created an account with them.

No, sorry. That only works with "actual" host which allows you to add domains to your hosting account. Forumotion only provides forum hosting and nothing else.

You can use a free webhost too, but their quite crappy.

As for the whole /forum extension and stuff, you just need to set your domain up on your account and then add the folder you want to your FTP, for example if you want it as yourdomain.com/forum then just add the forum folder to your FTP.

As Natan said, you can. You can't use free domains (.co.cc , cz.cc etc.) with free forum hosts such as Forumotion, FreeForums etc.

Meaning that this can be only done on a host like FreeHosting, 000webhost etc. (free ones are just crap so I suggest a paid one).

Yes, ForuMotion runs on a system of credits. Credits represent real monetary value, and they price domain changes, or removals of the .forumotion extensions at a fee of so many credits.
