Just wondering, how does the following domain prices sound to you peeps?

.com - $8.50
.net - $8.00 :great:
.org - $9.95
.info - $8.50
.us - $12.00
.uk - $9.95

Those are the registration prices, renewal/transfer may be different. So, what are your thoughts on the domain prices, are they competitive?

Nothing concrete yet, but most likely domains will be through excelledhosting; such that you don't actually need to buy hosting to get domains but you'll get free hosting if you purchase a domain through us. Again, nothing concrete yet as I still have to make the "down payment" to the domain reseller. I'm just looking if the planned package is purchased, will I be able to provide competitive prices?

I'm very certain I'll go through with this, but feedbacks are also nice. 🙂

If you offer free hosting with the domains, you might wish to raise the prices a bit.

Pretty good prices for.com.

But, I don't really understand why .org, .us, .uk and .info are not the same price at .com s and are more expensive.

I can register a .info name for 0.99-2.99 for the first year at GoDaddy or other domains.

It's actually not an exhaustive idea, we might offer free hosting with little resources or not provide at all. and if provide decent amount of resources, we'll definitely have to raise the prices as you suggested.

Maybe free hosting will be available on to the first few domain buyers  .

Because different extensions are bought at a different rate and amount, therefore the prices differ. We might level out most domain prices and keep them the same.

You can perhaps register .info for a low price at godaddy, but .coms are not $11, not $8.50 🙂

They can have an advantage over one part, so to speak but we will have the other in ours.

I don't know a lot about it but I've bought a domain or two before. The last one I bought was a .com from Register.com. It cost me like $4.00 for the year.

.org - $9.00
.info - $8.00
.us - $12.00
.uk - $10.00

Looks like a pretty good structure, but I was really looking towards the $8 .nets

They are good prices, although I'd prefer them all being under $10, like how HawkHost does it, from memory.

.com - FREE IF YOUR NAME IS MARK
.net - FREE IF YOUR NAME IS MARK
.org - FREE IF YOUR NAME IS MARK
.info - FREE IF YOUR NAME IS MARK
.us - FREE IF YOUR NAME IS MARK
.uk - FREE IF YOUR NAME IS MARK

I believe these prices would be the best, however i'm happy with the other prices should these be impractical. :great:

Well my name is Mark, so I could abuse it as much as I wanted xD

The prices are good, but my question is it profitable? 🙂 Keep in mind, for .co.uk the Registry requires 2 years registrations. There is no option for a one year registration.

From what I can see your planning on purchasing from the domain reseller that I was looking into. I'd like to point out the prices listed are what you buy them at, not what you sell them at... if your not making any profit on the domains then it's a lot of hasstle, plus the down payment per year...

Hope it works out for you mate. 😀

Actually we might just be looking at different resellers. With those sale prices, I would me making quite an adequate profit.

Final prices have be revised and you can see/register domains here: https://billing.excelledhosting.com/domainchecker.php

These price are differ from extension to extension....I have registered the Domain Name at reasonable cost from Whosixy.com they provided me many free services....
