A website giving away domains for completing surveys. Works in a points system.

tlds4free.com
takeafreedomain.com?

Any ideas would be really appreciated.

hmm it's a bit too long. Looking for something with "free" in it. eh I hate choosing a domain/name. Any suggestions would be appreciated, even if it doesn't have "free" in it.

Domainsgiveaway? ugh too long. I might aswell take tldforfree.com

Any other ideas?

http://freedot.com

I checked it out, it's either not taken or somebody bought it just to put ads on it.

That was brilliant, but sadly it's taken 🙁

Should I go for freedot.net? :shake:

I think I'll just go with tldforfree.com
at least it's pretty decent. 🙂

You might be able to contact the owner (dnsadmi[at]mdnhinc[dot]com). Maybe http://freedot.ws? It's not taken, it's registered by the owners of .ws (methinks).

My suggestion would be to keep the word free out of it actually, good way to get people to avoid it by default. People are slowly catching on to the relationship between "free gifts" and "credit card fraud". I'm not saying your site will do anything of the sort, however it's best to keep your domain as unrelated as possible. Take "Rewards1" for example, their domain does not include the word free.

I'd look for a Web 2.0 style domain myself... it's more brand-able and will get you farther long term if you plan to keep the site. If you decide to sell, a Web 2.0 domain will fetch far more than a standard sounding one.

If you need suggestions for Web 2.0 hit me up via PM. I should have a few hours tomorrow morning to see what I can do.

Good points there Leo Ghost, however you should note that Web 2.0 is 5 years old, so its like reliving the past with web 2.0 domain, which is not good nowadays.

Web 2.0 style domains are still extremely popular today.

Code:
del.icio.us (delicious)
Digg (dig)
flickr (flicker)
Google (googol)
Goowy (gooey or GUI)
Snocap (snow cap)
SoonR (sooner)
Topix (topics)
Zooomr (zoomer)

And that's just one style of Web 2.0, let's not forget Compounds, Phrases, and Blends.

myfreedoma.in
rewardurl.com
rewardomain.com
tld4free.com vs tldforfree.com

I'm saying they were made 3-4 years ago, hence why they are popular today. If you thought of such a name back then, I would definitely think it would be one of the leading domains, but now, I doubt 3-4 years down the track it will be as popular.
