Domain worth

Hey!

Recently I've been thinking that I don't really want to run a MyBB resource forum and I'm thinking about transferring domain to a new registrar (current is Slovenian) and then selling/trading it. I want to know how much you guys think that my domain is worth.

Domain: StyleMyBB.com
Creation Date: 11-Aug-2010
Expiration Date: 11-Aug-2011 (extended for 1 year after the domain transfer)
Statistics:

• 2th October 2010 (before switch of host)
• 10th November (after switch of host)
  
  

Note: I would be selling only the domain not the entire forum.

Well it's got a lot of potential for someone in the MyBB skinning business, but there's not a lot of people around doing MyBB skins. Really no one can tell you how much it's worth, it just depends on how much someone is willing to buy it for really.

Depending on the site you sell it on, you could get anywhere from $10 - $50 IMO. That is a very nice domain, has potential.

Always start high and be willing to negotiate, not insanely high but enough to make it worth your while.

I personally would hate to see someone that is educated in domaining buy my domain for $20 only to see it re-list for triple that amount. I'm not saying that your domain is worth $xxx but I am saying to list it for a decent chunk and allow people to counter.

Nathan is correct, while there are ways to valuate a domain it really depends on what someone is willing to pay and how bad they want it.
