Domains???

So i told Typlo to delete a domain i registered with Forumotion, but he said ok, but after he do so, the domain can't be bought again until the next 4 months. So i am puzzled...is this a Forumotion policy or problem and that's why the domain can't be bought again till 4 months? Or is this the domains rule?

The domain can't be bough until it has expired. When I last checked the old ACP, it was 59 days until it expired, so you can't repurchase it for 2 months.

You must wait until it expires before you can re-purchase it.

You were not meant to ask for the domain to be deleted. You had to ask for a "domain transfer code". If you got a "domain transfer code", you could then own it immediately on GoDaddy.

Forumotion will do anything to keep you from having the domain.

What were his exact words? What you just said and what you said in the first post don't affirm each other.

But you're not transferring it to another host. What you're doing (or need to do) is to transfer it to a different account.

You should ask for the domain to be transfered to your GoDaddy account. The announcement is only for transfer to different registrars (eg. Namecheap, eNom, 1&1).
