Donate Blood

Would you ever donate blood?

Or have you already done it ? if so what did it feel like, knowing you have helped someone.

I felt great after donating blood. I donate once in a while.

Ive never done it, I wanna just each time i have my blood took at the doctors for tests, i end up fainting lol ~eeeek~

i have no desire to ever do it. if i found out i had a rare blood type and it was needed then maybe.

I donated blood previously, and the couple of nurses attending me forgot to seal the tube going from my arm when switching the bags, that I ended up spraying blood all over the floor.

What type of health issue? I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, yet I am still allowed to donate blood, but not plasma. BUT in the case of 2 sisters and 1 brother of mine, they cannot donate, because of a health issue, that really prevents them from donating, because of the nature of the disease.

Well I mean I'm not allowed to since my "sexuality" HOWEVER even with that if I had too I would, but other than that no. I cannot stand needles, I hate them being in me, I hate seeing them, I just cannot stand them. They would probably have to knock me out through a punch in the face in order to get me to do it. 😛

It's just one of those anxiety attack things, same thing with spiders. :lol:

It's called VCFS. Basically it's a heart condition that I have. I can randomly pass out with no warning (I've been close to death a few times and the doc's only gave me to 12 to live) I also only have one kidney.

My company has certain days where we can go donate blood on site and get back to work soon after. It's pretty cool and the people are very nice and hey, you get to skip out on about an hour of work ;]
