New Arrival
I tried this service today, linking my site's Twitter and Facebook pages. I signed up for the newsletter and received 100 points.
On this page, everyone who "follows" or "likes" your page receives the number of points you offer in return, in my case I used the lowest to start: 2 points. What I was looking for were people who were truly interested in what my forum has to offer, not in having meaningless numbers of followers.
At first I was excited as all 100 of my points went to people who "liked" my page. Within a half hour, though, they had all "unliked" it. All they were doing was grabbing a new user's points for their own benefit, then moving on to the next poor sap.
I would rather have twenty people who really like what we offer than a hundred hollow names who don't participate. If you feel the same, I don't recommend using Twiends.
