Dont you hate it when other people copy you?

So when I started my forum AdminBB it was the first admin forum running on xenforo, soon as I started my Admin forum another person decides to sell his promotion forum and then decides to create an Admin Forum because he sees the success of AdminBB, so then he decides to take our ideas again by converting his forum to xenforo, the thing that made adminbb stand out from others and the reason behind its success.

Not only that he went low enough and copied our entire layout of our forums slightly changing the names and descriptions around a bit. Few months ago I added a rule to our showcase and guidelines section where if members had a competitor forum such as other admin forums, they werent allowed to be advertised on our forums and when I posted that as an announcement that person didnt agree with that rule and was against it, but now when I went to check his rules on his forum to see what else he copied from us I saw that he too added that rule.

I kept my cool, but how long enough can I keep it inside so im venting right now, im still kind enough to not embarrass the person by pointing out who it is. Its also sad because this person's Admin Forum is more of a general discussion forum as his forum really has no important content at all... most of his posts are in the general discussion section (7,630 posts as of this post) and others hidden in private staff section to raise his post count.

So dont you hate when people copy your ideas, and then use them to get successfull. What happened to people these days. Use your own ideas and uniqueness instead of copying other forums.

Just because i have a Admin Forum on xenforo does not mean that i have copied you, your forum was dead and long done with at the time i converted to xenforo. The main reason i converted to Xf was that Vbulletin wasnt doing it for me and i was being hit by dozens of spammers a day and i wanted to jump the vb ship, i had a xf license going spare so i decided to make use of it. I remember you spitting your dummy out and complaining to numerous other people for using the same FREE skin, even in unrelated niches. You are quick to start accusing people of copying you but the other day i caught you copying content from MY forum and putting it on your own, you didnt see a long thread about it though. You really need to get it into your head that adminbb is not the only admin forum in the world, or the only one that will ever be on xenforo. Just because someone starts a forum in the same genre as yours does not mean they are copying you, your forum is not unique, there are dozens out there like it.

Whats your explanation to copying my forum's layout and rules, and changing things around a bit?

This thread is honestly funny because if I remember correctly didn't Kasier copy alot of threads off forumpromotion here like guidelines, etc. I also know a few others you did aswell and members complain about it. So your complaining about others copying you when you done the same?

You changed them after the members complain of course they are not the same now. But I know some people that could witness that remember.

Actually adminbb was dead when i went to xf, you was gone and left ashley in charge. I did not copy your forums and rules, i made my own rules from scratch and i admit that i mainly put that rule about advertising (just the other day) to prevent you from advertising your forum on mine. no biggie. And if you take a proper look our forums may look simaler, well because we are in the same genre so it wouldnt take a genius to work out that there would be simalaritys as there would with any other forums of the same type. We have many features and forums that clearly set our two sites apart, for example we have a voting booth, do you have that? forum battles do you have that? or maybe our Educational section?

I think you need to take a good hard look at what your posting before accusing others of copying you, you seem to do it alot and its nothing less than paranoia.

Our forums are different and as i already explained due to our forums being in the same niche there are bound to be simalaritys, you cant really have an admin forum without forums on coding etc; cant you?

What are you talking about? I seen both forum and neither look a like except for the first catagory which is the announcements, feedback, and introduction. But that is kinda basic that everyone uses. So I don't see a reason why you should complain? I don't see anything alike between either of the forums.

Kaiser, you know full well i have copied nothing from your forum, nor do i need to. Your claim just sounds like internet brands against Xf, your paranoid and you think you can bully people and try by all means to shut down competition. But kaiser your forgetting something, i have never backed down to bullys and i never will so you have failed if thats what you were tring to accomplish by this.

XF is getting more popular, of course new admin XF forums are going to come up, you can't expect to be the only admin XF forum forever. And you and ShadyX don't really have that similar forums. I wouldn't have guessed that he copied you (doubt he actually did) from looking at both of yours. The forums that you listed are the basic ones that almost every webmaster/promotion/administration forum has. You can't claim he "copied" you if you're not the only one using those forum ideas.

No I am not paranoid, you know very well what you have done... things were even more similar if not same in the past, but I cant prove it as you have still changed stuff. But you know very well you copied, and took many of our ideas.

And as for the forums they are in exact order of adminbb and similar in names and descriptions, digitalpoints and theadminzones order is different.

That by far is the most useful post in this topic.

This topic is nothing more then a childish "You copied me" argument. It serves no purpose to anyone else other then the 2 people involved. If you want to argue between yourselves about who copied who etc then do it via PM or on another forum. Don't do it on the public forum where we all end up wasting time reading it.
