People see that those colours work on FP, so they blatently copy them. Whether or not FP had them first is not the case, though I kind of doubt that FP would have kicked off as a forum by blatently copying another promotion forum's colours. =.=

Mate your basing those statistics off what? Who says they didn't see them off other forums? :yes:

I'm starting to get sick of them. The installation of the add-on's (MODs, Plugins etc) are really annoying. Still need to find a good software.

I agree that all the promotion sites appear to 'copy' each other. However, I find it's the members of the community itself that makes it different. I particularly like the community atmosphere at Link Removed.
Yes forum promotion websites allow you to advertise your forum quite well and gain backlinks. However, do you think that the majority of people using forum advertising sites are going to be targeted users of your forum (unless your forums about tech, forum admin, forum promotion, etc.). This makes forum advertising websites good for communicating with other admins, moderators, etc. BUT not as good for advertising to your targeted users(unless as above)
