Downtown Tokyo is an anime forum dedicated to bringing you the very best in anime! I just started it as a fun side project, and I'm slowly working to do whatever my members ask me to do for the forum. As a growing forum, if you want a fun, friendly community of members then you just hit the jackpot. If you are looking for a forum that you want to help design/run, then join Downtown Tokyo, where anything you suggest will be read and acted upon.
We currently are having a Halloween in April event, where all of you Halloween lovers can come talk about the best holiday of the year! THE BEST HOLIDAY, YEAH! WHOO! Anywho, we are EXTREMELY friendly(unlike some big forums), and you can post about any topic you wish and we will not judge you. Watch some anime, play games in our arcade, try a hand at some puzzles, we got tons of things to do other than just talk about anime. We also have some contests going on as well, right now we are searching for our forum's theme song. I say "our" forum, because I may be the owner, but I don't do a thing, I only do what my members tell me to do. If they want a music player, I add a music player, if they want a radioshow, I give them a radio channel and shows. If you give us a shot, you won't be sorry, you got my word on it.
Downtown Tokyo now has it's own Radio channel! We play trance/hip hop/pop/rock n roll/ambient/and video game music! We do take requests on our forum, and anyone can listen, but to request you will need to join the forum. We do live broadcasts every so often and play music with videos sometimes.
This is a special way of trying to find all of the music lovers, even though we are not a music forum. I haven't seen any forums with their own radio channel, and we get about 12 people per show we do and we've only done a few shows. If you just want to hang out on other sites while listening, then you can do that, just leave the page up in the background while doing your other tasks. Crazy or not, we try our best to bring you what you love!
